Artwork Project Specialist (Temporary 6 months)

THE ROLE

The Artwork Project Specialist (APS) is responsible for the execution of packaging artwork for new and updated products going into our global markets. The APS will work across functions to ensure all labeling is accurate, legal, maintains design integrity and marketing needs. This role is fast paced and requires good computer, project management and organizational skills, a detailed eye, plus a passion for excellence. The APS is responsible for multiple projects running concurrently. 
This position is to be held in Amsterdam and is temporary for 12 months.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Own and drive packaging artwork development autonomously from the executable phase until supplier proof.
  • Be a trusted artwork expert, within the Initiative project, ensuring artworks compliancy and always in adherence with the agreed work processes.
  • Lead the artwork project schedule to deliver artwork synchronized with overall initiative schedule, as per initiative success criteria, with a multifunctional team and internal to Coty and to other external partners.
  • Ensures necessary actions are taken to adhere to the artwork timeline.
  • Initiate and own Artwork meetings when needed.  
    • Ensure smooth handovers between the Design and the Studio.
    • Ensure artwork planning with the cross functional delivery team to ensure Fit for Use inputs on time.
  • Brief Artwork Studio and review artwork files in terms of legal and regulatory compliance and printing specifications. Follow through with cross functional team members on their final deliverables (technical drawing, design data, ingredients, Codes, etc..) to hit key milestones for 100% CPS adherence. 
  • Address, resolve or escalate issues when needed and thrive for continuous artwork process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Owns artwork change management process (after Artwork approval and before production).
  • Is fully capable to use the artwork platform Esko WebCenter and connected tools.
  • Is responsible to maintain and improve KPI.

 

PROFILE

  • Artwork production experience and knowledge of print processes.
  • Proven track record on managing artwork projects and delivering on time, on cost and on quality.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects as leader and/or member of a multi-functional team. 
  • Experience in operating in a matrix structure and across borders is a plus.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must have high organizational skills.
  • Proficient with computer skills and MS Office. Knowledge of Artwork tools (ie WebCenter) and Adobe Suite a bonus (Illustrator).
  • Self-managed.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
