Master Data (MD) Specialist is responsible for MD setup in the respective Business Unit (BU) in the following areas of Master Data: Customer, Material and Pricing. This includes data maintenance in SAP in quality and timely manner, using automation tool for maintenance, data validations, investigating queries from other functions (i.e. CS, Sales, Marketing, AR,  Planning) and performing complex analysis on big data sets. MD specialist is expected to identify and lead the improvements in the tools and processes.



  • Maintaining master data in area of customer, material and pricing (SAP)
  • Resolving issues within area of responsibility
  • Performing data analyses using big amount of data
  • Obtaining and delivering information for audit purposes
  • Training and coaching requestors and MD team members
  • Creating and updating existing work procedures
  • Cooperating closely with other teams (CS, Sales, AR, Planning etc.)
  • Identifying process gaps and proposing improvements



  • Fluency in English and at least intermediate level of German
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comprehensive PC skills; knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
  • Service mind-set, with a focus on process excellence and data quality
  • Process improvement capabilities
  • Experience with ERP (preferably SAP/ CRM)
  • Professional experience in fields related to master data, customer service, supply chain operations would be a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
