The role of Master Data Management (MDM) Expert at Wella Company will be to ensure master data integrity across the Logistics, Planning & Supply Chain organisation. The successful applicant in this role will have the opportunity to provide a real impact on the set up of MDM processes and will have the opportunity to work across different organizations & teams, in close cooperation with IP, MSP & GMM teams.




  • Coordination of material and finished products Master Data setup.
  • Meeting deadlines according to agreed SLA.
  • Ensuring master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
  • Identification and implementation of improvements to drive efficiency and performance in MDM processes.
  • Support a more integrated approach to Master Data by providing centralized expertise.
  • Reporting risks and issues to management for timely mitigation.
  • Define and document the Master Data process when needed.
  • Providing quality input of Root Cause Analyses into the PDCA cycle.





  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Process Improvement, SAP and Master Data Management, preferably from an FMCG environment.
  • Comprehensive SAP systems knowledge and strong knowledge of MS Office is required.
  • Strong drive for quality and operational excellence with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English required, further languages are beneficial.



  • A high level of individual accountability and an ability to take ownership over the given scope of responsibility.
  • Strong sense of discipline and attention to details.
  • Team player with a positive attitude to create the right dynamic to achieve the defined objectives.
  • Experience on Sharepoint, SAP MDG is beneficial.
  • Autonomous with an ability to work in a fast-moving environment, highly adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
