THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced  Supply Chain Manager to join the External Operations Planning team in the Warsaw Planning Hub. This is a great opportunity to lead a team of brilliant people and influence one of the core supply chain areas - third party manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to work in the cosmetic industry and learn about the amazing market of hair care and colorants for retail and professional divisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the External Operations Planning organization, leading the team and being responsible for optimizing third-party manufacturing planning, in order to support shipping and deployment of all designated value stream products against inventory and service targets. Accountable for providing markets with the stock they require by matching their forecast and customer orders whilst achieving inventory objectives throughout the supply chain.

  • Benchmark and pro-actively provide industry-leading improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and performance in the supply chain.
  • Ensure action plans and strategies are in line to deliver targets.
  • Accountable for the production planning and shipping of all value stream products to the relevant Distribution Centres
  • Joint responsibility with Initiative Planning (IP) Team to ensure production plans support launch plans and items at risk are identified and communicated
  • Coach and mentor a team of direct reports, ensuring the team members motivation and professional growth.
  • Manage the execution of the Supply Planning & Finished Goods deployment process, in order to ensure the business agenda is supported
  • Review and analyze daily reports associated with value stream and generate action plans for improvement.

Essential/Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (logistic, economy, or production)
  • 1 year or more of experience as supply chain leader
  • Practical knowledge of specific supply chain areas (planning/ customer service/ artwork management)
  • In-depth knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of systems SAP and/or JDA
  • Ability to manage a broad and complex portfolio of goods, focusing on prioritizing against a challenging backdrop of change.
  • Robust Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to demonstrate management skills: setting clear objectives, feedback, communication, recognition, development of others, and flexibility
