National Account Manager - eCommerce

The role:
Most of our brands are leaders in the professional channel (hair and nail salons) and we want to expand part of our portfolio, into e-Commerce (Adore Beauty, Amazon, The hut Group, Sephora.com, Mecca.com, Chemist Warehouse.com) to access more directly our clients, generate awareness and ultimately drive more traffic to our salons partners. We are seeking a National Account Manager, to lead the expansion of some of our Professional beauty brands (Wella, OPI, Nioxin, Sebastian) in e-Retail channels across ANZ.
You will be a beauty and commercial expert who will design the white space strategy, implement it from vision to execution, and have strong negotiation and selling skills to win in this new channel.. The right candidate will drive further expansion of our brands online through long-term partnerships with key customers like Adore Beauty, Sephora, Mecca.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director, Omni Channel, you will:

  • Lead the strategic and sales planning process for e-Commerce;
  • Manage annual budget development process for designated accounts;
  • Lead sales forecasting for retail accounts;
  • P&L ownership from Gross Sales to Net Revenue to drive growth & profitability;
  • Plan & manage execution of a customer promotional, trade & new launch plans in line with brand strategy;
  • Explore & implement new brand awareness & promotional initiatives;
  • Manage customer co-op & trade budget, monthly previsioning & reporting to finance; and
  • Explore commercial opportunities & negotiate Joint business plans to optimise trade spend and maximise sales

You will have:

  • 3+ years’ of National Account Manager experience successfully managing e-Commerce retailers at top management level;
  • Australian industry experience in Ecommerce / Beauty;
  • Strong selling & negotiation skills with previous experience in sales highly regarded;
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen & understanding of P&L’s;
  • Trade marketing experience is desirable;
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified;
  • Advance Excel skills; and
  • Strong analytical, thinking and problem solving skills
