National Account Manager - Grocery

THE ROLE

WE are looking for a National Account Manager to drive further expansion of the Clairol brand in grocery through long-term partnerships with Woolworths and Coles. In this role you will build strong positive commercial relationships with grocery accounts to deliver growth for Wella and our customers, maximise sales opportunity, deliver market share & profit growth results.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with Woolworths and Coles to achieve and exceed assigned sales, profit and share targets

  • Build transversal strategy for grocery channel & individual customers to achieve annual targets

  • Lead the strategic and sales planning process for grocery accounts 

  • Manage annual budget development process for Woolworths & Coles 

  • Deliver on designated sales plans, targets, KPIs business goals and budgets  

  • Lead sales forecasting for grocery accounts  

  • P&L ownership from Gross Sales to Net Revenue to drive growth & profitability 

  • Plan & manage execution of a customer promotional, trade & new launch plans in line with Clairol brand strategy  

  • Manage customer co-op & trade budget, monthly previsioning & reporting to finance 

  • Explore commercial opportunities & negotiate Joint business plans to optimise trade spend and maximise Retail Hair sales 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience successfully managing grocery customers as a National Account Manager at top management level 

  • Grocery buyer experience is desirable 

  • Industry experience in Mass retail/FMCG/Beauty  

  • Strong selling & negotiation skills 

  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen & understanding of P&L’s 

  • Category management experience is desirable 

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified  

  • Advance Excel skills
