THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Financial Forecaster to join our Finance team. This role will see you partner with the business to provide insight through reporting and analysis to deliver the Business Units results, manage performance monitoring (“P&L” and cash collection) and lead local projects & initiatives to optimise Return on Investment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage profit forecast and business performance reviews
  • Manage month end process (P&L and B/S, where is division specific); Review, validate and deliver actuals; Prepare variance analysis
  • Manage customer profitability, budget and initiative financial review
  • Manage Capex process including forecast, review and associated requests
  • Lead or prepare ad-hoc projects or analysis
  • Be a key business partner to help multi-functional team identify and capture financially sound opportunity areas
  • Act as a business co-pilot to guide the organisation to achieve its financial targets / ambition
  • Champion of stewardship by leading the monthly closure of financial P&L , B/S accurately and according to relevant policies / standards

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Proactive and organised nature with high attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure and manage competing demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and problems in simple terms
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Background in forecasting and financial analysis
  • CA qualified or equivalent preferred
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel and Financial Modelling skills, be inquisitive by nature and able to understand trends in complex data and interpret it
  • Full understanding of the month end close process and how it relates to other closing activities
  • Experience with ERP Systems preferred; preferably SAP
