THE ROLE

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team. This role is a temporary maternity cover, where you will be responsible as a key partner to the commercial unit, providing financial expertise in areas of sales and customers E2E aspects to deliver business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of Southeast Asia and Korea Distributor Markets, you will get to lead the financial analysis, plans development and implementation in line with financial goals and strategies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide insights and commercial interpretation based on various data sources including financial, in-market sales, distribution

 

  • Provide accurate trade budget forecasts and management for existing customer base while partnering with multi-functional teams to develop relevant trade activities with improved return on trade investments for each market

 

  • Lead Earnings Model optimization project in relevant markets via cost-to-serve analysis to plot short to medium term profitability glide path in line with business vision

 

  • Drive sustainable cash culture by providing accurate forecast & customize customer specific plans to improve overdue balance / DSO / bad debt risk from working closely with AR and Sales team

 

  • Enable and incentivize frontline team to over-deliver top-line growth through providing visibility on customer level performance and maximizing incentive programs by partnering with HR resource

 

  • Demonstrate Stewardship mind set by ensure accurate, SOX compliant and timely period close processes for both P&L and Balance Sheet

 

  • Build financial capabilities 1) internally to sharpen organization’s financial acumen 2) externally to enable distributors to drive sustainable revenue growth

 

  • Support budget management needs including CAPEX, marketing budget, customer financing

 

  • Involve in ad-hoc sales financial management data

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to utilize Financial & Accounting principles and financial systems / business tools for data analysis as well as interpreting financial data into commercial context
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally, to drive actions and enable excellent execution across multi-functional teams
  • Strong Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft suites (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Bachelor degree in any discipline. Accounting qualification is an advantage. Minimum 3 years work experience in relevant fields such as analysis, finance, accounting, operations management
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to think holistically and strategically
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced business environment

  • Attention to detail and thrives under teamwork environment
  • Proven to resolve complex business challenges and can formulate effective solutions to improve business results
