We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our #wellafamily and be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, which involves tasks such as preparing journal entries, supporting month end close process, and reconciling and analyzing accounts for Singapore. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the individual provides analytical support on all transactions related to the maintenance of the General Ledger in a reliable, timely, controlled, and value-added financial input.



  • Month end closing: Preparing and posting journal vouchers, Inventory reconciliation, Balance sheet reconciliation, Verify proper entity and profit/cost center bookings, Monthly and quarterly reporting, Intercompany (I/C) Netting, Chart of Account maintenance, Fixed assets reconciliation, Various I/C recharge and reconciliation, GST return and reconciliation. 
  • Reporting & Control: Monthly reporting, timely management information, liaison with LE Controllers and quality check of the accounting and budgets 
  • Audit support: Provide support for internal/external clients in relation to financial and tax audit in all areas of responsibility. 
  • Internal Controls: ensure necessary internal controls and compliance protocols are in place and operating in accordance with audit requirements. 
  • Make financial adjustments (e.g., provisions, accruals) 



  • At least 8 years of experience in accounting field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting       
  • Experience with ERP Systems preferred; preferably SAP 
  • Financial Accounting: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles and full understanding of the month end close process and how it relates to other closing activities. 
  • Information Technology skills: Knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence objectives and principles. 
  • Execution Excellence: Delivers the plans in complete, holistic, and timely manner to enable excellence in execution and demonstrate good business judgement.
  • Relevant experience in the Professional industry is an added advantage.
  • CPA or CPA Candidate preferred and understanding of basic accounting, financial statements and US GAAP
