Marketing Director - Professional & Retail Hair

Leads and develops all marketing plan and strategy for Professional and Retail Hair Wella Company’s brands (Wella Professionals, Sebastian, EIMI, SP, OPI, Nioxin, Koleston e Soft Color) in Brazil.



  • Drive brand awareness, image and reputation through several programs: Brand Campaign, Ambassadors,  Influencer Activation, Social Media, Local events.
  • Lead Local Brand and Media planning: Continue to own the Brand Plan for the FY as well as media planning. Ensure to optimize those according to 1. Pacing principles and 2. Cascading Choices guidance.
  • Manage a team of Brand, Digital and Influencer Marketing.
  • Gather, report and analyze Category & Competitor data. Provide key insights that helps the team to make choices and drive the business.
  • Track and analyze “Gross to Net” that enables the business to make choices that are profitable business drivers.
  • Track initiative execution and promotional activity (volume forecasts, actuals, in store execution). Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders.
  • Lead Company’s Budget planning and control partnering with finance team.
  • Partner with the multifunctional teams (demand planning, marketing, finance, sales teams) to execute the day to day business with excellence on forecasting, initiative and promotional planning, sales deployments, pricing, shipment planning.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing Leader and Customer Teams to provide Collections POS data. Provide key insights and actionable next steps with the data.
    • Consumer, Stylist/Nail Tech and Salon Owner insights: Need to truly understand salon, stylist and consumer delighters and key issues.
    • Accountable, together with sales and education to drive market growth agenda and ensure excellence in execution across channels. This includes executing global initiatives and fill gaps locally if needed.



  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline).
  • Post Graduation and/or MBA is desirable.
  • Experience of 10+ years (solid experience).
  • Proven experience leading Marketing teams, strategies and budget, preferably in multinational companies.
  • Deep knowledge and know-how of best practices in customer acquisition/ retention and growth, deep knowledge of online technical environment - ecommerce, digital, influencer marketing and CRM.
  • Strong customer-centric point of view.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
  • Experience in hiring, leading and development teams.
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.
