Digital Education Manager

The purpose of this role is to create the connection between the Digital & Education functions, ensuring Education activities are present on the Digital Calendar and are driving the audience to consume more education content, as well as the Digital evolutions and advances are reflected within and adopted by the Education function.






  • Digital Education Content:

Own and take responsibility for the planning, conception, design, development and implementation of all Digital Education content (Video, Social Media Content, Interactive Seminar modules etc.) created locally or deployed from the global organization and ensure the content is kept up to date and relevant according to brand key messages.


  • Digital Education Channels:

Own and take responsibility for all Digital Education channels including Social Media through to owned channels such as brand websites, learning management system and apps and ensure they are updated and in line with the company strategy and brand guidelines.


  • Education Activation:

Collaborate with the Education Manager & Digital Manager to define the education calendar according to the brand activities and events and ensure sufficient coverage of the education activities on brand social media channels. Liaise with agency partners to plan activation campaigns paid or organic to drive traffic to hero education programs and continually evolve based on campaign learnings.


  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

Work with agency partners to ensure correct and prompt reporting of all education activation and performance is documented and shared with the multi-functional teams to enable continued evolutions, resource and budget planning and alignment with company objectives.




  • Center of Excellence:

Be the go-to person for expertise on education content performance and design evolutions.


  • Meaningful Connections:

Drive connections between the teams to ensure collaboration and eliminate duplication and siloed work.


  • High Performing Organization (HPO):

Ongoing Capability building on personal, commercial and digital skills through the Frontline Education Capability Plan.


    • Value-Adding Expertise:

Role modeling Education expertise when interacting externally with customers (Education activities, meetings etc.) and internally with multi-functional teams at all levels of the organization.




  • Registered Users of LMS is 40% of total buying customers.
  • Online seminar enrollment/booking is 25% of total buying customers.
  • Active users of Online Education is 10% of total registered users.





  • Strong understanding of digital environment including platforms, content, user habits and behaviors.
  • Able to plan content to drive audience to a defined action (Buy, Book, Sign-Up etc).
  • Completion of EdAc Digital modules.



  • Valid Hairdresser/Cosmetology license (desirable).
  • Minimum 2 years salon experience as a licensed stylist (desirable).
  • In-depth knowledge of Online/Offline Education.
  • Completion of EdAc Fast Start.  



  • Strong understanding of education needs of Beauty Professionals.
  • High level of experience in the design, development and execution of Hairdressing education content, both on and offline.
  • High level of methodological, social competence and ability to energize, engage and enable others.
  • In touch with trends within the PB industry.
  • Excellent use of social media for customers and team communication (Facebook, Instagram, Workplace, WhatsApp).
  • Completion of EdAc StageCraft & Facilitation silver certification.



  • In-depth knowledge of Beauty/ HD industry and local marketplace.
  • Commercially and sales savvy to coach salons owners/managers on business strategy & development.
  • Strong competitor awareness.
  • Completion of GAIN academy.



  • Structured, solution-oriented thinking with very strong analytical and strategic abilities.
  • Leading by example, self-initiative and proactive.
  • Strong communicator, able to represent the function and ability to enroll leadership team to support digital education activities.



  • Advanced / Fluent English level (must have).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel) and Apple (iPad/apps).
  • Proficient with Social Channels inc Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Good understanding of CRM, LMS and Adobe analytics.
