ONLINE CONVERSION SPECIALIST E-COMMERCE

 

 

We’re looking for an Online Conversion Specialist to join our E-commerce team. This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for helping our e-retailers with optimizing their platform to attract more consumers, stimulate interest in our brands & products, improve user experience and ultimately conversion. A role with a lot of ownership, autonomy and impact.

 

As the specialist in the team you will be working on maximizing the findability, conversion and customer experience for our brands. You will research the websites of our online partners and make improvement plans that you will discuss with them together with the e-commerce business partner in the team. You will follow-up and support our partners with the execution of the plans and manage the internal stakeholders that need to be involved.

 

You will be using your knowledge and skills to accelerate our e-commerce business. You will be working closely with the team and our partners and make a clear difference versus our competitors. This is a role where your vision, conviction and leadership will really make a mark!


Areas of responsibility

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

Business Performance

  • Accelerating our brands on the partner’s platforms, by driving findability, conversion and customer experience;
  • Analyzing the full sales funnel and customer journey (e.g. usability / accessibility / product information architecture) to identify potential improvements to achieve the maximum online results;
  • Contributing to generate more traffic, increasing AOV, growing loyalty and ultimately more sales;
  • Creating roadmaps and optimization plans for ort partners, ensuring great digital platforms and making sure we are their preferred business partner;
  • Supporting our e-tailers with CRM plans to drive conversion;
  • Analyzing trends on customer & buying behavior and share findings & opportunities with stakeholders.

 

Strategic Contribution

  • Improving our online presence & optimizing our partner’s platforms to win with our online retailers;
  • Driving our brands (content), processes, tools and what is needed to make sure we are setup for success;
  • Keeping up with digital developments so that we can adapt and act on new insights, innovations and technologies;
  • Contributing to the ambitious goals of the E-commerce team.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Working closely with the online retailers as a business partner;
  • Growing the business and creating compelling online brand experiences together with the e-commerce team and internal stakeholders.


PERSONAL QUALITIES


We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Essential

  • Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field;
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally on webshop side;
  • Experience with developing and managing optimization roadmaps;
  • Knowledge on SEO, SEA, CRO, website architecture, customer journeys, web analytics;
  • Ability to shape CRO goals into functional roadmaps and backlogs, which make it clear what the team of designers, developers and marketers will be working on;
  • Someone who can face a customer and who can gain their trust to ensure that they see you as an important discussion partner, at an operational, tactical and strategic level;
  • A keen eye for developments in e-commerce that help customers accelerate their digital business and can explain this clearly;
  • Think & act like a start-up mentality: entrepreneurial and high ownership;
  • Proactive & innovative as well as a healthy dose of pragmatism and able to deal with day to day challenges;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with digital marketplaces (Bol, Amazon);
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM;
  • Affinity with Beauty. Prior beauty category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.

Selection process

The selection process will be done via interviews with line manager / HR manager and General Manager. Calibration of several candidates and interviews will either lead to direct decision or an additional interview if needed.
