Jr Demand Planner

To strengthen the Benelux demand planning team, the Wella Company is looking for a passionate and driven Jr. Demand Planner.

 

 

POSITION PROFILE

Main responsibility of the Demand Planner is to lead best possible forecast accuracy and secure service to customers. Results will and can only be achieved in close collaboration with the main stakeholders: marketing, sales, finance and international supply chain teams.

The most important responsibilities are:

  • Contribute to the monthly S&OP process and brand performance review
  • Convert the monthly sales forecasts into accurate (item) forecast;
  • Manage the launch, renovation and discontinuation processes together with marketing, sales & international SC team;
  • Follow-up on (potential) out of stocks, slow moving stocks and obsoletes;
  • Manage local promotion activities in close collaboration with marketing and sales
  • Optimize forecast accuracy results on brand and sku level;
  • Be an interface between local teams and international SC teams.
     
    PERSONAL PROFILE
    Education and Experience
  • Master or Bachelor degree, specialization in supply chain is an advantage;
  • 1-2 years of working experience in demand or supply planning is a strong advantage;
  • Strong affinity with data analysis and data driven decision making.
  • Working experience with SAP and/or JDA is an advantage
  • Experience in FMCG/beauty industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Dutch, Excellent in English.
