THE ROLE

As Sr. Manager, Digital and Influencer Marketing in the Clairol US team, you will be responsible to deliver the digital and influencer marketing strategy to drive awareness, consideration and sales growth across Clairol brands. You will have to define the vision, strategy and plans to grow our brands through digital channels and partner with cross-functional teams and agencies to execute them with excellence.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop vision, strategy and KPIs to grow our brand awareness, consideration and sales in the US via digital channels: social media, e-retailers, CRM, paid digital media.
  • Develop our PR and influencer marketing strategy and plans in partnership with our PR agency and execute them with excellence, maximizing content and plans across earned/owned/paid channels, identifying brand relevant targets in media, influencers, digital communities, bloggers & vloggers.
  • Collaborate with the global team and our PR agency to develop/create breakthrough tools and assets to drive coverage, inclusive of experiential activations, content creation; videos, images, interviews, partnerships and collaborations.
  • Build synergies between local influencer plans and global plans.
  • Collaborate with our e-com sales teams to develop strong growth plan for top e-retailers, Amazon, WM, Target: maximizing CARS and ensure right level of media investment behind each platform.
  • Collaborate with the global team to develop necessary assets and content calendar for the brand to win across US social media and e-retailers.
  • Collaborate with our media team to ensure we optimize our media spend in the digital space; Digital paid media / search / e-retailers.
  • Expand direct customer communication via Clairol CRM system as well as develop targeted customer communication plans for retail/key account/e-com partners.
  • Monitor e-customers and competition activities to develop insights on how to win; e-com and social media audit.
  • Continually evaluate plans effectiveness, tracking performance vs. KPI, and recommend action plan to grow further & faster and adjust vs. category and competition evolution.
  • Support trade marketing and sales team, providing them all necessary assets to ensure successful sell-in to e-retailers.
  • Own budget and budget tracking.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Essential:

  • Master’s degree: Business/Marketing degree preferred.
  • 6+ years’ experience in Influencer Marketing and Digital Marketing in Beauty or FMCG.
  • Extensive Digital Skills e.g. eCommerce, Search, Social & Content Management.
  • Previous beauty experience appreciated, ideally achieved within similar smaller developing businesses with strong presence online, a comprehensive understanding of Beauty and FMCG environment, ideally within the US would be highly beneficial.
  • First experiences in crisis communication/issue management.
  • Strong communication skills verbal & written and social skills, a true team player.
  • Strong leadership skills: able to develop a vision, engage and enable key stakeholders and execute with excellence.
  • Analytical thinking & problem solving able to analyze complex and multiple data to develop in depth understanding of barriers to growth and propose solutions to fix.
