THE ROLE

Looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Wella company and work in Clairol Retail Hair brands for the globe. Apart from a university degree and prior work experience, we are looking for someone that wants to join a fast paced environment where  accountability, ambition and discipline are paired with a desire to achieve results collaboratively.

You will be leading the development and execution of global master plans that deliver strong brand building and profitable business growth through insight-led strategy, closely guided by the Global Marketing Director, whom you’ll report into.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead some of the Global Clairol initiatives in collaboration with multifunctional team, by executing strategic vision and bran plan throughout the initiative process.
  • Develop marketing toolkits to enable local markets execution.
  • Work effectively cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Trade Marketing, finance, initiative leaders, R&D, cmi) providing the vision and direction required to ensure the successful delivery of brand plans.
  • Manage the day-to-day marketing budget for the brands, ensuring all budget trackers are maintained correctly.
  • Represent the brand and present at key internal meetings, especially during innovation meetings.
  • Track competitor activity and industry trends, sharing key learnings with internal teams.
  • Be a champion for the brands, maintaining regular dialogue cross-functionally and across markets to drive the brand strategic priorities.

  • Develop strategic analysis Execute marketing vision, strategies, and tactics for Clairol Retail Hair.
  • Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline)
  • 3+ years’ experience in brand or product marketing
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge – MS Word, Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint

  • Ownership: act as owner of the business, drive his/her projects and is accountable for results
  • Keen to learn and accept feedback – keen to learn continually from others, accept to listen and act on feedback given.
