  • Design and deliver near and midterm (1-3 years) package innovations within initiatives by defining and meeting design intent, performance, functionality, robustness, aesthetics, and cost, manufacturability, timing, and quality requirements.
  • Provide packaging expertise to define, validate, and qualify product packaging.
  • Collaborate with key partners spread across Commercial, Design, Supply Chain, and outside Suppliers to deliver winning products as a team.
  • Create and execute consumer-focused technical learning plans, guiding the final designs that you develop and specify end-to-end through all design and delivery stage gates.
  • Collaborate with our global plants and suppliers to understand and integrate the requirements of possible supply chain solutions in the packaging design and engineering process. Identify possible suppliers and cost drivers of your designs, consider menu options to optimize cost, scale and simplification delivering speed to market, delight, and best value.
  • Own key technical tasks and deliverables such as technical testing plans, fit-for-use and FMEA analysis, cost drivers and preliminary costing, package testing, line trials, specifications, manufacturability, vendor timelines and quality requirements.
  • Explore new packaging ideas via prototyping, competitor and non-competitor packages, new technologies, supplier offerings, etc. to offer innovation for brand growth.
  • Support base business portfolio projects of our brands as required, such as resolving quality issues, cost savings, etc.



  • First experience in Package Development/Engineering, developing new product initiatives within the Beauty or FMCG Industry.
  • 3-5 years of Package Development/Package Engineering experience within Beauty/Cosmetics or Hair Industry is a plus.
  • University degree in Packaging Development and Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related subject.
  • Knowledge in packaging technologies (e.g., molding, flexibles, cartons, print and decoration, assembly), project management and packaging development approaches.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify smart solutions with the right level of pragmatism. Attention to details that matter in Beauty.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral) is mandatory, any other language is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in global diverse teams and environments.
  • Passion for solving problems using creativity and/or analytical skills. Experience in identifying technical solutions and their implementation is a plus.  Affinity to develop beauty design solutions working with industrial designers/design agencies.
  • Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Entrepreneurial, agile, and hands-on spirit. Focused and disciplined. High sense of accountability and ownership. Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Open to change in a dynamic growing environment.
  • Very strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills for verbal and written communication of ideas, technical rationales, risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks, Artioscad, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional data organization skills.
  • Ability to work with structured data specifications.
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of your time to domestic or international destinations.
