THE ROLE

  • The Account Manager (FS BSG) is accountable to deliver business targets in Value (Net Consumption sales, Net Gain) and Distribution (gaining competitive doors,  retaining and growing existing customers) by being perceived as the #1 partner to the Salons and their Distributor (BSG) Sales Team. Develop a Strong knowledge of Industry, Competition, Wella Portfolio (products, services, education, appliances, accessories…) and Salon P&L.
  • Drive the value of Education, Digital support, Services, Marketing & Sales activities… to generate sell through opportunities for salons, materialized into a tailored Customer Action Plan.
  • Positively Influence the Distributor (BSG) DSC (Distributor Sales Consultant) and FSL (Field Sales Manager) by developing their capabilities to sell The Wella Company's Professional Brands and by supporting their business needs by leveraging The Wella Company's Resources.
  • Responsible to track and report the business data defined by the business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS

  • Achieve assigned quarterly and annual targets for consumption and GAC metrics.
  • 100% of all Global Elite Platinum Salons & 50% of Gold Salons to have a Joint Business Plan in place and active, integrating salon & store marketing and promotional plans in line with customer and The Wella Company's requirements.
  • Plan & Execute BEST IN CLASS Distributor (BSG) Sales Meetings and Trainings to achieve Distributor (BSG) Objectives & Expectations.
  • Proactively develop relationship with key competitor’s customers with the objective to Gain.
  • Regular updates to provide current status and plan interventions if needed.

ORGANIZATION

  • Successfully completes self-directed learning plans as assigned by Manager and Lead Team. Clearly articulates how learning is applied in day to day functions.
  • Customer Portfolio Management: identify right profile of prospects to increase horizontal distribution and any growth opportunity within existing doors to increase Wella penetration, act strategically by building plans driving Sell Through opportunities for salons.
  • Operate with excellence: Perfect Journey call planning with Distributor (BSG) DSCs identifying underdeveloped DSCs and Markets as a development priority.

OPERATIONS

  • High Performing Organization (HPO): Responsible to achieve their target, by investing sufficient time and resources on field (customer calls / prospect calls). Being efficient using the company digital tools. 
  • Use Frontline tools: be agile by using the suite of Digital sales tools and support provided by the business unit to maximize productivity, drive qualitative grow call and increase number of prospect calls.
  • Operate within Budget and Company guidelines: act within financial stewardship adhering to Company policies.
  • Data & Report: Complete analysis of sales & business reports and identify key individual opportunities to maximize sales revenues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Negotiation & Customer Portfolio Management competencies
  • Proven track record delivering sales results (min 3-4 years) in a business-to-business account Management role
  • Interest in Beauty industry
  • Strong skills on MS Office including Excel, PPT, Marketing,
  • Finances and up-to-date on social media &Digital.
  • Valid driving license & willing to travel
