Position Title: Senior Manager, Trade Marketing (DSO/BSG) Hair Exclusives brands – North America

Location: Calabasas, CA

Reports to:  Senior Director, Trade Marketing

Direct Reports: 1 (shared)

Trade Marketing is a Commercial Department, embedded in the brands, whose top line mission is to:

  • Build and implement Go to Market strategies across the professional hair category specifically for the Street/Salon Channel (DSO – Direct Selling Organization, & BSG Network)
  • Steer and monitor market performance
  • Build channel specific category strategy to delight customers
  • Be the internal voice TO the markets, OF the markets.





  • Lead the Go 2 market strategy for the Professional hair care brand portfolio (base business, initiatives, promotions for the Salon/Street Channel (DSO – Direct Selling Organization, and BSG Network).
  • Co-Manage the Marketing Specialist and work directly with the Sales Analytic Team to map and track business results and provide action plan to steer or accelerate results.
  • Track performance of initiatives against KPI’s or comparable benchmarks. Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders.
  • Work with the multifunctional team (demand planning, brand marketing, finance, sales, education and Field Sales teams) to execute the day to day business with excellence on forecasting, initiative and promotional planning, sales deployments, pricing, shipment planning,
  • Collaborate with Local and Global Marketing team to challenge, align and give feedback on all new product launches and commercial launches (pre, during and post)
  • Translate global brand vision into trade specific strategies for the professional hair category, within the Salon/Street channel
  • Manage Professional distribution database, distribution drives and new distribution opportunities for the Hair Exclusives brand portfolio
  • Translate global launch plans and brand calendar into “professional” and channel specific launch plans and calendars.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to create, master and implement all customer requirements into the planning process.
  • Gather business intelligence on category market trends, completion and share best practices.
  • Fuel global marketing to develop initiatives that fit markets needs and provide them with launches performance analysis.




  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline).
  • Experience of 5+ years sales (or marketing) in the beauty industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Highly detailed with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.


  • People management skills is a plus
  • Confident speaker with ability to present to cross-functional teams
