THE ROLE

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and lead commercial  strategy (Sales Fundamentals, Product/Channel portfolio roles) for Wella colorcharm and Clairol Professional
  • Create and own the distribution footprint and identities white space opportunities.
  • Design and deploy the  go-to-market strategy for new product initiatives and base business commercial initiatives
  • Work with multi-functional team to execute the day to day business with excellence on forecasting, initiative and promotion planning, sales deployments, pricing, shipment planning and distribution strategy
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing to give feedback on all new product and commercial launches  and translate Global Brand vision into trade specific strategies that are fit for use for all distribution channels
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to create, master and implement all customer requirements into the planning process
  • Analyze retail initiatives and promotional forecasts for business sufficiency and trends
  • Track performance of initiatives against KPI’s or comparable benchmarks and consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders
  • Competitive analysis:
    • Being an expert of the category in the top markets to identify biggest opportunities and risks and share the best practices
    • Knows the market trends, our customers’ strategic priorities, and implements plans needed to win with them.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline).
  • Preferred experience of 5+ years sales (or marketing). The beauty industry is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong ability to multi-task.
  • Highly detailed with strong organizational and operating skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
