We are seeking a Wella - Shopper Based Design Specialist: Nail who will be responsible for execution excellence for our Planograms and Fixtures. 

This role will focus on  executing best in class permanent displays and shelf layouts for the OPI brand in support of national initiatives and custom strategies for our priority customers. 

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of Shopper Based Design, the SBD Specialist - Nail will play a critical role in partnering with internal and external teams including but not limited to 3rd party vendors, brand marketing specialists, customer sales team contacts and other connections as needed.



  • Planogram: Under the guidance of the manager & senior manager, you will create planogram schematics for top customers line reviews, initiative sell ins, and national brand deployments based on aligned assortment and layout strategy. 
  • Fixtures: You will manage production and implementation of permanent fixtures and displays and work with 3rd party installation companies as customers require. You will be responsible for communicating customer warehouse requirements to fixture vendors and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Spare parts and New Stores: You will own production and implementation of annual fixture needs for spare parts/new store openings. 
  • Budget Reconciliation: You will open and track purchase orders and you will reconcile open PO’s and invoices against the approved budget. You will provide current status to the manager & senior manager in advance of quarterly budget connects with finance.
  • Assets and graphics: You will facilitate fixture graphic production with marketing or shopper marketing by providing vendor-created die lines and ensuring timely return of final graphics for production needs. When needed you will work with marketing teams to pull pack shots or product renders for fixture vendors.
  • Product database: You will own the accuracy of our product database and be responsible for ensuring all new items are added as soon as they are available.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar discipline.
  • Experience of 3+ years in marketing or sales in the retail industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and flexibility to juggle many priorities across top customers and all brands.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and disciplined.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office: Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
  • Experience with planogram software or aptitude to learn.
  • Beauty industry and merchandising experience.
