As part of the North American Education team, the role will support the brands’ education & curriculum development and formats taught by Field trainers and IC (independent contractors). Advises the needs of NA Education fit-to-win requirements. creating best in class education content, seminars and tools (digital and face to face) to win with Education in the NA market landscape. Works closely with the commercial team to ensure all training tools are created with a competitive edge.

This role is located in the Wella Professional Beauty headquarter in Calabasas, CA.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the NA Brand Education, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Field Education teams to execute the education strategy and enable best-in-class education classes, seminars and trainings tied to the marketing initiative and base business goals at all Education Touch Points (salons, stores, digital, studios, shows & Events, and schools).
  • Supporting Care & Styling Brand Education at least 50% of time with omnichannel Education needs
  • Assisting Brand Education team and manage various priority portfolio projects as needed 
  • Partnering with field Education team to capture the needs for each trade channel and has a clear understanding of what classes and formats need to be developed and delivered at internal and freelancer trainings.
  • Maintaining digital platforms up to date with current content and assets 
  • Create digital assets to support Brand Education and Shows & events
  • Lead logistics for all virtual education needs (artists bookings, best practices, templates, product order and shipments, etc…) 
  • Create high-tech and low-tech assets and collaterals to support face to face and virtual education 
  • Staying up to date on competitive brands product launches and education initiatives.
  • Adapting and customizing all education curriculum (digital and analog) to various customer channels needs and requirements.
  • Organizing, writing and developing multimedia visual aids, and other educational and training materials.
  • Creating training materials, multimedia visual aids, and other materials needed for Capability development




  • 2-3 years of experience in similar role or capacity
  • Licensed hair professional (min 3 years)
  • Some graphic design experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strategic thinking                
  • Budget tracking
  • Experience in working with Sales
  • Good understanding of competitive Education landscape in the NA market
  • Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylee or lawful permanent resident.
  • College Degree or Acceptable work related experience
  • Valid drivers license, vehicle proof of insurance, and ability to drive and travel long distances for extended periods.
  • Knowledge/Experience of the Professional Salon industry
  • Computer proficiency with Ms Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
