Regional Education Manager

We are looking for Regional Education Manager for Western Canada.  This role is focused on developing business via operative planning and execution of Education activities across all Education touchpoints and brands via distribution approach within a dedicated area and/or customer.  People management for all education employees and external partners (freelancers, ICs) within dedicated Education touchpoints with the aim to maximize business opportunities, coverage and reach targets. 

Key responsibilities;

  • Lead, execute and track all Education activities driving the 5 Education Cs (Coverage, Commercialization, Craft, Community, Capability) and measure against defined Education KPIs and within budget guidelines.
  • Co-design and execute local Education Curriculum across all Education Touchpoints, based on global Curriculum (online/offline), serving the distribution strategy following commercial priorities
  • Execute and track against defined Gain & Grow targets, taking into consideration: resources, targets and company strategy as well as customer and industry needs.
  • Cascade plans across Education organization down to Educator level working in partnership with Regional Sales Manager. Execute and track against defined Gain & Grow targets
  • Credible face of the company.  Represent Education internally and externally as a credible face to the industry to ensure Education is seen as the preferred partner.
  • Bring stylists/industry voice into the Education & Sales Strategy.
  • Digital Amplification; use SoMe to drive awareness for Wella Education and promote Education curriculum & bookings.
  • Organization; High Performing Organization (HPO). Responsible for enabling Education team to achieve their full potential, by prioritizing time and resources into team culture, individual capability and coaching.
      • Conduct feedback conversations on professional and personal development of the Educators.
      • Identify and further develop talents within the Education team
      • Conduct co-rides & On-the-Job Coaching
      • Recruit, train and maintain Full-Time (FSA, FET) education rolls in Western Canada
  • Distributors; develop & maintain relationship with BSG Sales Manager, Sales Reps and Stores. Develop & maintain relationship with Modern Distributor Principals, Sales Managers, Sales Reps, and Store teams. Work in Partnership with Chatters Corporation & Tommy Guns to build education plans across Canada.
  • Sales; build relationship with sales partner to build schedules/plans for sales meetings, trainings and detailing.
  • Education Planning; plan Regional events, assist in Show planning, outlined by show/event plan in Western Canada. Work with All Distribution Channels (Modern, BSG, Studio, Chatter/Tommy Guns) to create education calendars (Virtual/Face to Face). Oversee JEP (Joint Education Plan) building for all GE salons that qualify. Oversee and compete all GE points expenditure upon completion of the program annually. Point contact person for all GE (Global Elite) customers in Western Canada region.
