THE ROLE

As our Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our Go To Market strategies across professional hair brands. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the competitive retail landscape, build and deliver best in class channel specific plans, promotions and initiatives that will maximize business results while increasing market share and growth for our brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build Trade Marketing strategies across the pro hair category, specifically to care & styling across all channels.
  • Develop the Go to Market strategy for any initiative & base business (Where to play, How to win).
  • Create, master and implement all customer Fit For Use requirements into the planning process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external departments (Brand, Sales, Demand Planning, Shopper Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Service) to develop channel specific GTM plans, programs, and promotions that drive the business and execute the day to day with excellence on forecasting, initiative and promotional planning, sales deployments, pricing, shipment planning. 
  • Align with cross-functional teams and provide feedback on new product launches and commercial launches (post, during and pre).
  • Track performance of initiatives against KPI’s or comparable benchmarks. Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders.
  • Create and own the sales sample strategy for the Brand Sales/Education Team.
  • Own the national promotional calendar and co-own the customer specific promotional calendar for their brands.
  • Competitive analysis; Be an expert of the category in the top markets to identify the biggest opportunities, risks and hare the best practices.
  • Gather business intelligence on category market trends, competition with CMI and Shopper marketing teams and share best practices in industry.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline).
  • Preferred experience of 3-5 years sales (or marketing). The beauty industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong ability to multi-task.
  • Highly detailed with strong organizational and operating skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
