We are looking for SAP Security Lead that will partner at all levels of the organisation to develop, implement, and execute an organization-wide SAP Information Security strategy.

The Security Lead will be required to take ownership of a number of project deliverables in the SAP application security & GRC workstreams.


The Security Lead will be driving interactions with the business application owners, project management, and across the transformation workstreams. The Security Lead will be responsible for driving activities within their own work stream, assign and schedule resources, and monitor progress of deliverables. The role will also be responsible for the design, development, testing, and promotion to production of SAP security roles and authorizations with focus in governance, risk and compliance.


In addition, provides audit support, project support and operational support of SAP security tasks, working with the business, partner agencies and other IT colleagues.



  • Lead the overall SAP Security & GRC activities
  • Lead discussions and workshops with the business leads and stakeholders in gathering security requirements, defining the roles, identifying gaps in the global template, and defining ownership
  • Lead the effort in defining data protection requirements within SAP
  • Lead the effort in defining approaches and deliverable for all phases of the project including build, test, and deployment
  • Identify critical path and dependencies/deadlines for security work stream
  • Identify and manage complex inter-project dependencies
  • Coordinate the work effort of the various leads that are delivering projects within the program to deliver on time, to budget, with project inter-dependencies identified and actively managed so that the overall impact is minimized to the business.
  • Act as SAP Security Subject Matter Expert for security standards and procedures, SAP authorisation concepts including ERP & HR security, role design, troubleshooting, and business information requests
  • Own the Authorisations/GRC design and strategy (system connectivity for GRC, Access Control, Process Control, Reporting, Naming Conventions)
  • Govern partner agencies in the direction of SAP security tasks ensuring compliance with audit
  • Analyse enhancements and required modifications to identify security requirements and deliver timely SAP security role changes
  • Maintain security roles for SAP systems on an on-going basis

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in information security related field.
  • B.Sc. degree with major on IT, computer science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge in design, build, implement and support of SAP Security roles for multiple SAP environments (such as ECC, S/4, BW, BO, SAP Cloud solutions such as Success factors, Ariba, Concur)
  • Working knowledge of SoD (segregation of duties) analysis, sensitive transactions analysis, and able to design and build SAP roles accordingly
  • Experience with Outsourcing scenarios
  • Fluent in written and spoken English


  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Good communication skills, working with business users globally and off-shore partner agencies
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at varied seniority level
  • Strategic thinking, ability to clearly articulate a vision for the function
