Within IT, the Operation and Services organization’s responsibility is to work with our internal and external partners to ensure reliable IT operations and services at the bets service costs.



We are actively looking for a Director for Network that will responsible for ensuring the provisioning of efficient, reliable and secure Networks and all associated systems operations so that users benefit from uninterrupted high-performance, high-quality, efficient and effective IT systems.



  • Contribute to the formulation of IT strategy, plans and budget with a special focus on requirements for IT Network Operations in the Department.
  • Identify and prioritise the specific needs of the Directors within the Department and ensure that the necessary networking operational capabilities are in place and meet user needs.
  • Manage relationship with contracted vendors to ensure service meets end user requirements
  • Responsible for the implementation and tracking of service levels and reporting metrics, KPIs and monitoring supplier contracts
  • If required meet, negotiate with and recommend appropriate vendors to install appropriate networking systems that support the business objectives of the various directorates within the Finance Department.
  • Experience implementing and tracking service levels and reporting KPIs
  • Negotiate with vendors for effective maintenance and support contracts to obtain timely service on installed systems.  Ensure provision of requisite training and adequate support to users for further effectiveness.
  • Review and monitor overall performance of Network systems in order to recommend continuous improvement and to meet changing needs of the Department, especially backup and recovery procedures.
  • Lead, guide and motivate subordinates to perform to their best potential and to work effectively together as a team.  Ensure training needs are duly met for high levels of competence. Provide confidence of career development opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement for the network service with vendors.

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical qualification in the IT field.
  • Knowledge and experience of operating networks to support business operations
  • Understanding of the various business and management processes within the Department of Finance.
  • Understanding of service mgmt capabilities and framework (e.g. ITIL v4)
  • Familiarity with service management platforms and reports (e.g. Service Now)
  • Understanding of user expectations and needs.
  • Planning, analytical and project management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and negotiating ability.
  • 10-12 years relevant work experience in the IT field of which around 5 years in management with some years in a state of the art corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of any of the following languages would be a plus: French, Spanish.
