WELLA - Global Business Delivery Manager - Trade Marketing

As Global Commercial Operations Manager – Retail Hair you will lead critical areas of business delivery for the entire global retail hair portfolio, acting as the central axis and key point of contact for all global BUs on yearly P&L delivery. This exciting role provides an amazing opportunity to participate in Wella’s transitional period and lead the business during its transformation. This special time of transformation will allow you to build a new commercial operations team and set up global to local drumbeat, as well as ways of working and processes.


As Global Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for translation of global Retail Hair vision into yearly business plan and co-piloting with the markets the adaptation and amplification of global strategies and establishing local business plans.



  • Driving execution of Retail Hair business model across geographies and portfolio.
  • Leading creation of yearly global start plan for Retail Hair and co-piloting creation of local plans with BUs.
  • P&L supervision, curse correction: strengthening, gap closing plans with BUs, co-ownership.
  • Leading business cycle including yearly business plan, monthly business updates, S&OP.
  • Supporting BUs in translation of global strategy into local success model across MKT/TM/sales aspects.
  • Owning interpretation of KPIs in monthly reviews.
  • Running business health assessments across geographies and portfolio.
  • Supporting BUs in business intervention plans; Portfolio Structure, Media, Pricing, Distribution etc.
  • Supporting BUs in globally substantial projects such as Pilot Launches and major customer meetings etc.
  • Acting as moderator between Local and Global Innovation teams.
  • Leading global agenda & process of local tactical launches and base business requests.


  • Support Retail Hair Leadership team within short term focuses, such as transition related projects.

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experiences Marketing and or Trade Marketing, major local or regional roles.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in successfully leading brands and or brand portfolios with hands on experience with market share gains and launches.
  • Track record of successfully and autonomously led complex projects of high scale, on local or regional level.
  • Comprehensive experiencer of creating a long-lasting business relationships across a matrix organisation.
  • Experience in business cycle planning; yearly business plan and forecasting.
  • Ability to formulate and communicate complex ideas and plans across levels within the company.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to a high standard.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, excellent oral and written communication skills.
