The Role

The Global Procurement Finance Sr. Manager position offers an attractive opportunity for a driven finance professional to be hands on and have an impact in an entrepreneurial and growing business. You will play a key role in supporting the procurement organization in understanding results, making choices and assessing opportunities and driving the efficiency agenda of the company.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in Geneva, Switzerland.


Main responsibilities

  • Drive and influence cost saving agenda and raw and pack materials sourcing strategy supporting the procurement team with meaningful and databased financial analysis.
  • Lead monthly analysis of procurement actual results.
  • Coordinate financial forecast process for direct and indirect savings and DPO.
  • Identify and address risks and opportunities on a going basis, driving a no surprise culture through understanding of numbers and excellent communication skills.
  • Liaise and coordinates procurement agenda across the plant finance team in our global network of factories
  • Master and maintain all financial controls in compliance with corporate and regulatory policies, accounting practices and IFRS
  • Acts as single point of contact for spending data cube (SIEVO)
  • Lead change by standardizing, simplifying and continuously enhancing processes.

Knowledge & Experience

•             University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics. Master in Finance is a plus.

•             5 years of work experience in Finance and Management Accounting & Reporting, preferably in FMCG. Supply finance / procurement finance experience is desirable.

•             Strong Analytical and databased approach

•             Solid communication and influencing skills

•             Works comfortably multi-functionally and over distance.

•             Aptitude to convert complex data into relevant business insight.

•             System literacy (Hyperion, SAP, Product Costing, SIEVO), high-level competence with spreadsheet applications.
