At Wella, digital transformation is one of the key company priorities. By being part of the global eCommerce team, you will be a key contributor in driving the commercialization and growth of the direct eCommerce business, reporting directly into the Global B2B eCommerce Director.


The role of Global B2B eCommerce Activation Manager will be responsible for enabling the eCommerce activations across all Wella markets in the world. She/he will support local teams to enable excellence in the execution and share and reapply of best practices, driving a better activity system.



  • Define the plan and recommendations to optimize the activity system on the Wella B2B eCommerce platform across all Wella markets, as a result drive profitable sales conversion.
  • Develop shopper insights and learnings on activations performance, by analyzing and monitoring KPIs for shopping experience & sales and by partnering with sales and other functions.
  • Support the development of the global marketing plans and content for the Wella eCommerce B2B platform to increase frequency, penetration, and basket size, with focus on the platform experience.
  • Ensure that the overall shopper journey is integrated across all the other activations part of the brand ecosystem.
  • Share and reapply best practices to define and enable a best-in-class activation across all markets.
  • Enable local teams to execute with excellence the localization of global marketing plans and the platform merchandising activity according to best practices. Track local execution and define recommendations to improve the overall local platform experience.
  • Provide regular reports/updates on competitive intelligence on platform activations. 
  • Ensure effective cross-functional teamwork from idea-to-launch with all relevant internal stake holders and external partners. Report on project progress, issues or challenges to the business and technology team. 
  • Efficiently manage the projects by coordinating parallel workstreams in order to achieve the projects deliverables within the agreed time and budget. Enable decision making by providing analysis and recommendations timely.
  • Provide regular reports/updates on competitive intelligence on innovation projects and business trends

  • Substantial experience in eCommerce, minimum 4 years professional experience in digital marketing/product marketing/ e-commerce.
  • Proven experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization.
  • Master’s Degree level qualifications. Preferred (but not mandatory) disciplines: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Management, Business Studies/MBA, Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities.
  • Solid grasp of e-commerce, CRM, digital marketing.
  • Financial acumen and business analytics skills.
  • Experience with managing global or local paid media campaigns.
  • Proven Influencing, Negotiation, Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • At ease with rapidly changing environments.
  • Passion for digital innovation, digital media and beauty.
  • Fluency in English required, further languages are beneficial.



  • Experience in the creation and maintenance of websites based on Content Management Systems.
  • Experience on SEO/Paid-Search
  • Solid understanding of web technologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, etc.)  and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier.
