The position is for a Manager in Regulatory Affairs with responsibility for the ASIA region (excluding China and Japan), supporting all professional and consumer businesses of the Company and international R&D developments.

The position reports to the Asia leader of PS & RA.   In this role, the candidate will be responsible to support all registration/regulatory needs of the region, to maintain and further develop the Asia regulatory capability and to address business issues as to meet business goals.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Overall accountability for ASIA (excluding China and Japan) Regulatory compliance including assessments of products, ingredients, labels, claims, novel technologies and product ideas and related compliance options.
  • Oversights of product registrations in ASIA, accountability for registration capability, issue resolution, interface with local businesses and distributors.  
  • Regulatory monitoring as to anticipate upcoming regulations;  Contribute to the impact assessment of potential legislative changes and definition of compliance plans.
  • Representation of company interests in selected trade association teams and tasks.
  • Establishment of a network of consultants and agencies to expand regulatory capabilities and capacity on a need basis.
  • Regulatory leadership and interface with relevant regulatory authorities and support to local organizations/Distributors in case of issues, audits quality incidents, market recalls, competition or legal challenges.






  • Master degree in scientific disciplines (Pharmacy, Biochemistry or equivalent), preferably with experience as Pharmacist and/or in pharmacovigilance
  • Experience in Regulatory Affairs with minimum 3 years in the cosmetic or professional experience in the medicinal products sector.  Good knowledge of EU legislative framework for cosmetics.
  • Familiarity with cosmetic legislation/registration framework in ASIA or other regions will be a plus.  
  • Proven record of successful regulatory achievements, and in issue-resolution with global regulatory authorities.
  • Professional experience in handling technical regulatory subjects and experience in interfacing with regulators and other stakeholders. 
  • Proven effectiveness in working with remote teams. High openness to cultural diversity, and experience in dealing with personnel from other cultures.
  • Analytical mindset, ability to analyze multi-factorial problems and integrate complex data into decisions and actionable plans.  
  • Business-oriented attitude with strong communication skills as to synthetize complex regulatory topics and issues for non-expert audience and senior leaders.
  • High integrity and personal accountability.
