WELLA- Logistics Manager/Process Engineer

This role helps to support Global Logistics COE by maintaining consistency of standards and timely reporting of results across the network. Through external and internal interfaces, plus definition of processes, clear and consistent standards and requirements can be maintained across the network. Maintenance of the DC network collaboration will enable the most effective logistics tools to be deployed or shared across all operations.


  • Collation of all logistics KPIS and produce regional and global summaries, including gap analysis vs targets and action plan ownership to close gaps
  • Generation of management reports and seek best practice continuous improvement efforts for the automation of reporting 
  • Ownership of the end to end core model standards for Logistic operations; query resolution versus the standards; maintenance and updating of standards in line with agreed changes in best practice. 
  • Point of contact for best practise, re-application of ideas, technical trouble shooting and coaching of local teams
  • Ownership and maintenance of data collection of sales data for OPI/ Salon Professional Gold Line products. 
  • Collation of production and customer shipment scan data to enable identification of customers selling on products to unauthorised vendors.
  • Work closely with external and internal audit control functions on stewardship requirements including Inventory Record Accuracy, Stock Reconciliation, Damages, Stock Adjustments, Security, SAP Access, WMS Access 
  • Periodic assessments of people and procedures to maintain oversight.
  • Participating in regular meetings across DC network to ensure timely sharing of results, deployment of information, operational changes and sharing of best practises/learnings.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years logistics experience within an FMCG or similar industry.
  • Ability to lead and influence people across different geographies, cultures and levels of the organisation.
  • Open to periodic international travel  
  • Project management skills – demonstrated delivery of systems, organisational or equipment changes within a logistics environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, self motivated and able to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice within the logistics community
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Bachelors degree is highly advantageous 
  • Experience of SAP, Warehouse Management Systems, Power BI and SQL is desirable
  • Additional language skills are desirable but not essential
