Jr Key Account Manager Belux – RETAIL HAIR + ECOM

Reports to: Team Lead Retail Hair WELLA CO

Location: Brussels/Rotterdam

 

Role summary:

As Jr Key Account Manager Belux you will be part of the transition of Wella CO in the Benelux. This exciting role gives an amazing opportunity to increase our business in the Retail Channel in the Belux . This job will allow you to make and manage your own business in Belux.

 

Areas of responsibility

As a Jr.KAM you are responsible for building the business in a sustainable way with new and existing customers in both mass retail as eCom. You will be responsible for achieving the targets that have been set to unlock the Belux Retail Hair & eCom market. With your ownership, self-starting mentality, agility and collaborative qualities, you have the possibility to drive the business from stretch to the maximum.

 

Your main tasks are:

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with your customers in the Belux.
  • Full ownership of the complete Belux Mass Retail and eCom landscape.
  • Full ownership of the process from first contact to make the final deal, in collaboration with a multifunctional team.
  • Cold Acquisition (mainly in the first period)
  • list new brands and develop the business at Belux eCom players according to the defined priorities and game plan ie. which brands at which customer
  • Lead annual negotiations with your customer.
  • Deep understanding of the business at your (potential) customer and deliver the results in line with the targets.
    Goal is to list styling at 1 of the 3 main retail players (Carrefour, Colruyt and Delhaize within a year and all 3 after 3 years.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experiences in Key Account Management
    (major local or regional roles);
  • Very strong negotiation skills

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

Education and experience

  • Master or Bachelor degree,
  • Experience minimum 2 years in a Sales role
  • Experience in FMCG/beauty industry is an advantage.

Selection process

The selection process will be done via interviews with line manager / HR manager and General Manager. Calibration of several candidates and interviews will either lead to direct decision or an additional interview if needed.
