ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose of this position is to deliver inspirational & value-adding education for assigned touchpoints across all brands & customers to maximize salon business & reach targets by being the preferred partner for stylists in the area of central Scotland. Maintain a close collaboration with Sales & cultivates strong business partnerships with assigned customers and represent Education internally & externally as a credible face to the industry.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS

  • Plan & execute education activities in salons, studios, pop-ups, colleges & external locations, or training centers where applicable.
  • Plan & execute education curriculum (online/offline), i.e. events, seminars & digital formats according to Trainer Guidelines & supported by different presentation tools.
  • Co-education plan for salons for advanced education program (depending on the level of expertise, time in role & skills).
  • Communicate with customers/salons, sales to set up education activities.
  • Ensure pre & post, through recommended eEducation & education studio programs.
  • Follow-up after trainings (feedback to customers & sales, SoMe posts).
  • On-going optimization of seminars based on customer feedback & market needs.
  • Plan & execute Prospect in-salon trainings. o GAIN, plan & execute Prospect in-salon trainings focusing on Craft services & brand philosophy (depending on the level of expertise, time in role & skills).
  • Ensure pre & post-through recommended eEducation & education studio programs.
  • Follow-up after in-salon trainings (feedback to customer & sales, SoMe posts).
  • Credible face of the company.
  • Represent education internally & externally as a credible face to the industry to ensure Education is seen as the preferred partner by stylists & set up as Key Business Driver for GAIN & Grow & for Digital.
  • Brings stylists/industry voice into multi-functional teams (e.g. sales, commercial, digital).
  • Sales & Education Partnership. o Jointly execute with Sales Rep defined GAIN & Grow targets (using existing tools, e.g. Visit, CAP) (depending on the level of expertise, time in role & skills).
  • Support Sales with new customer contacts, joint GAIN visits.
  • Technical support in Sales Meetings for all Initiatives & product launches.
  • Digital Amplification. o Use SoMe to drive awareness for Wella Education & PB brands & promote Education curriculum to drive booking.
  • Increase Education coverage through eEducation.

  • Value-Added Experience, Role modeling Education expertise when interacting externally with dedicated customers, Studio/Field Education activities, customer meetings, etc.) & internally with multi-functional teams at all levels of the organisation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

CRAFT

  • Qualified Hairdresser.
  • Minimum 2 years salon experience as a qualified stylist.
  • High mastery & craftsmanship in technical knowledge & services (focus on colour).
  • Completion of EdAc Global Quality Standards.
  • Completion of EdAc WCM Bronze/Silver Certification & progression to Gold.
  • Completion of EdAc Consultation Bronze
  • Completion of EdAc Fast Start On-Boarding.

 

EDUCATE/INSPIRE

  • Experience in demonstrating, training, presentation & communication.
  • Methodical, social competence & ability to energise, engage & enable others.
  • Awareness of fashion & trends.
  • Excellent use of social media for customers & team communication (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Workspace, WhatsApp).
  • Completion of EdAc StageCraft & Facilitation Bronze/Silver Certification.

 

COMMERCIAL

  • In-depth knowledge of beauty/HD industry & local marketplace.
  • Commercially & sales savvy to coach Gold+ /top GAIN salon owners/managers on business strategy & development certification (depending on level of expertise, time in role & skills).
  • Strong competitor awareness.
  • Completion of GAIN Academy.
  • Completion of Color College.
  • Completion of EdAc Instagram Masterclass.
  • Completion of ACTIVATE.

 

MANAGEMENT

  • Structured, solution-oriented thinking.
  • Leading by example, self-initiative & proactive.
  • Self-management & ability to successfully plan own time/area/route/

 

OTHER

  • Professional & fashionable image.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel) & Apple (iPad/apps).
  • Overnight travel when necessary to deliver in the role.
  • Valid drivers’ license & ability to travel long distances.
